Microsoft is integrating artificial intelligence with human intelligence by introducing security solutions to assist in combating ransomware and other cyber-attacks. This managed security will be human-led combined with trained technology.
In 2021 the software giant has prevented 9.6 billion cyber threats and above 35 billion phishing attacks, and 250 unprecedented security threats around the globe. Yet company believes technology alone cannot fend off cyberattacks without human intervention.
Due to this the company has announced to improve and reorganize security services under a new category, namely Security Experts. This service mainly aims to support security and privacy.
Microsoft Security Experts
The Microsoft 365 parent company will design three managed services that will help organizations to expand their cyber security teams without providing additional pieces of training.
Microsoft defender experts for hunting are for organizations with advanced-level security operations and wish to utilize Microsoft services in hunting and preventing cyberattacks. This will be available for Microsoft defender, Microsoft office 365, and cloud-based applications. Company clients will be able to consult experts without any attack and will receive individual recommendations.
The second category is Defender experts for XDR mainly targeted at the organizations that intend to increase and improve their security services. This includes extended malware detection, and apt response beyond endpoints and across Microsoft 365 defender.
The third category is Microsoft Security Services for the enterprise. It is extensive and expert-led combining threat hunting and XDR. These experts will assist organizations by taking care of onboarding, routine interactions, modernization, and response.
Microsoft Defender Experts for Hunting and Security Services for Enterprise are available right now for preview. However, Defender Experts for XDR will be rolled out during the fall. Microsoft is taking serious actions to fight cyber threats and this security service is a huge step toward data security and client privacy.
